CONTOURS 2018

Contours : This project was conceived in a coordinated collaboration with the fountain. Contours was designed to express a singular gesture holding and engaging the space it occupies on the buildings plaza. I wanted to create an elemental presence with mass and weight while evoking a shifting set of contours in three dimensions. To this end I created eight gestural arcs, intersecting contours, giving rise to arches mirrored and animated by water.
